In a five-four ruling this week, the supreme court decided that anyone can be strip-searched upon arrest for any offense, however minor, at any time. This horror show ruling joins two recent horror show laws: the NDAA, which lets anyone be arrested forever at any time, and HR 347, the "trespass bill", which gives you a 10-year sentence for protesting anywhere near someone with secret service protection. These criminalizations of being human follow, of course, the mini-uprising of the Occupy movement.

This design went through half a dozen iterations before I got the stark effect I wanted. The words themselves came to me when watching one of the (many) OPD raids on OccupyOakland. Protesters were asking OPD "why is he being arrested" and it occurred and then the phrase ("I think therefore I am") popped into my head as that reason.

The message applies equally for occupy, ndaa, Patriot Act ... all of it.

We, the people, are not mere puppets that the government can play with and break. We are human beings with family, friends, opinions, and we are more pure, and more honest that the bigwigs who know not how to run a country if their lives depended in it.

I am anti-ndaa and against all that it does do to twisting the truth.
However my biggest question of all is WHY aren't people petitioning against this as much as it would require? I seen the change.org's proposal and i've posted to every single website I have that has traffic (I get a lot of traffic overall) and told every body to spread it around. But [link] I've only seen roughly 16 signatures per month!!! WHY is this so small and why are people ignoring this kind of thing? It's FAR more important than SOPA/PIPA. I don't understand, no matter how hard I have tried I only seem to get 1 signature a month to help out. It is NOT making any sense and I want to know what is up with the world...

I've tried alll I could try, and i'm feeling hopeless.
