A politically incorrect, yet accurate, take on the classic "Vote" campaign button. Especially appropriate for the upcoming elections. Heaven help us.

*Note: This is a vector design, if anyone wants to use this to make actual buttons, just hit me up.

I think I know why the Mayans predicted that the Earth's end will happen this year. All the idiots are running for president, and one of them has to get voted into office... Dx

actually, what the Mayan Calendar says is completely true (HEAR ME OUT), which really is not that the world is going to end. Hollywood just says that it says it will.

Well ... not *all* of them ... the primaries managed to eliminate the true dingbats from the field ... still, we don't know who Rmoney's VP will be ...

Yeah. I've developed a lack of trust in any politicians since George W. Bush. 95% of them have their heads up their asses, and when they finally pull their heads out to breathe, the only thing that comes out of their mouths is the shit they've collected in there, while their heads were up their asses.

Though... I still can't believe how completely idiotic campaigning has become, through the past... Well, as long as I've been aware enough to pay attention to them. Nobody ever says what they will do; it's always "he said, she said," instead of "I plan on improving _______."

Sorry. I started ranting, there... I'll stop, now... ._.

We haven't had an actual leader in office since JFK. And I'd rather dig Nixon up from the grave than deal with Obama or Rmoney for the next 4 years. Nixon was an evil and corrupt scumbag, but he got things done and wasn't afraid to put smart people in cabinet positions.

True, but it seems that our whole governmen system has gone to shit, and has been steadily heading in this same direction since we started out.

That, and our position in the world's economy right now is that of the bratty tween who keeps asking his "friends" to lend him money, even though he almost never pays them back. We owe so much money to China alone, they could practically annex us, until we manage to pay them back. Not in a literal sense, of course, but I think the picture was rendered, there... I lacked a proper comparison there, and my mind fails to think of the correct words for the idiocy this country is dealing with.

The system per se is not all that bad. But corruption is completely out of control. When corporations own the media and the elected officials, well, no system can withstand that.

Well, yes, but that's what makes the system akin to that of an important building with termites in the wooden support beams. It's getting ready to collapse on everybody in it, but the people who should be maintaining it are the ones who are breeding the "termites" (greedy corporate CEOs) that are causing it to all collapse.

I think I have a plan for our government. It's just a rough idea, and it's not fool-proof at all, but it sounds good on paper, a least. So, if a corporation (like Wal-Mart or Google) started to become too much of a monopoly, and pushing everything else out of business, the government would make the taxes on that giant company just a bit heavier, to "even out the money." It's free market, but with less room for greed, but it's not "communism," or a "command economy," because there's still room for choice... If you want to pay prices that are a little higher (say, $5.00 for that cheap t-shirt, instead of $4.00, because of a .5% tax increase on the bigger company). It would also help if everybody wasn't so obsessed with all of the fat Ben Franklins in their pockets, though. If the mid- to lower-middle class could figure out how to really get these CEOs to realize how big the bucket of SHIT they've dumped on the country (and really, the world) is, I think things might get a little better. Maybe. Plus, it would make room for more competition, which calls for more jobs, as well as lower prices and higher quality, which would trigger more incentive to purchase goods and services by the higher amount of people with jobs, which would increase the demand for those goods and services, which would call for more jobs, and so on. It's somewhat of a "positive vicious cycle" of sorts, if it works correctly!

But REALLY; when people are heavily commercializing water, a natural resource that's needed, in order for people to live, or when even the common people practically need to be bribed with a reward, to "donate" to something like The March of Dimes, the greed is getting way out-of-hand.

That's the beauty of ruling through Fear. Self-preservation will trump pretty much everything else. Bottom line, to me anyway, is that given the resources available in the continental US (incl. solar, wind, tidal, room to live, room to grow food) there is absolutely no excuse for any of the "shortages" or price hikes or any of this other crap going on.
